Village of FPC

Nonprofit Overview

The mission of the Village of FPC (The Village) is to provide no-cost childcare and preschool to the children of single-parents attending school full-time to make a better life for their families. In addition, low-income families participate in our program through Child Care Works subsidies and other families pay full tuition to attend. The Village and our satellite site the Rutledge Institute for Early Childhood Education are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and hold the highest Keystone Star 4 quality rating. The Village is also committed to building a highly-qualified, financially stable workforce with reduced turnover.

Current Needs

The Village's greatest current need is the development of a comprehensive marketing plan. Childcare is approaching a national crisis level. In addition to sharing awareness of The Village and Rutledge Institute, families also need to be made aware of how much difference in quality exists and matters. The most brain growth occurs in the first five years of life and many studies have reported significant lifetime benefits of high-quality early learning.

Families often tell us they wish they had learned about our programs and the differences in provider quality sooner. We need to find effective ways to families with young children who would benefit from our early learning programs. A comprehensive marketing plan will help us to connect with those who most need our help.
