South Franklin Township

South Franklin Township is part of the McGuffey School District. Residents are provided with a variety of municipal services including fire, planning, code enforcement, and recreation. The Township takes great pride in its heritage and character, and is dedicated to the continued delivery of quality services and the enhancement of the community’s overall quality of life.

Public sewage is the most needed service to Township residents. We have an Act 537 plan in place as well as a designated piece of property, we just need the funding to move forward with the project to help our residents alleviate on-lot sewage issues that create health hazards and makes it difficult to sell properties without functioning facilities.
