Peters Creek Historical Society

Nonprofit Overview

The Peters Creek Historical Society was established in 1967. The purpose then and continues to be to preserve, commemorate, and share the local history of and around the Peters Creek watershed for current and future generations to learn about and enjoy. This is accomplished with knowledgeable speakers at monthly meetings presenting on a wide range of topics, educational outreach, scheduled and open house tours and events at our 1816 Wright House Museum and 1780 log house.
