A P Delsandro Memorial Fund

Our mission is to pay tribute to 89 citizens of Donora who made the ultimate sacrifice during World War I, II, Korea and Vietnam. We are rebuilding a veterans memorial that was demolished due to damage that was caused by environmental factors.

The rebuilding of the memorial is an expensive undertaking. We have completed Phase I of the process that included significant civil improvements to the site. We completed the installation of four 5ft x 10ft. original art murals that are the current calling card for the site. Phase II will involve construction of a landscaped seating area as well as a professionally designed lighting plan. Our charity does not have the funds needed to complete this phase which is estimated to cost $80,000.
